Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born to a music-loving family. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with various chamber groups as well as opera choirs in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. When she moved into California in United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current place in the southern part of California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo of the traditional Latin American music at private performances. She is involved with many local projects, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for having the chance to share her love and love for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to instill a sense of, especially among younger generations to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
