Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) was awarded a Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album reached the top of the charts at number eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Following that year, he joined forces with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. He was a part of the team alongside Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He the following year dropped his sophomore album charting Dopamina. He also was as a duo TINI for her hit streaming track Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a musical household his mother and older brother are musicians. In interviews, he described music participation as mandatory. While a youngster, he played the ukulele guitar and the piano. Despite initially wanting to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singer would alter the direction of his profession.
